A look inside the kit
The video and photos from the Etsy listings, with sample figures for illustration. Your real vendors and numbers go in the peach input cells. Click an image to view it larger.
The calculators stay free. This is the take-home version.
Every calculator on this site is free and always will be — run your numbers right now without paying a cent. The Wedding Money Kit is for when you want to keep that work: the same trusted math as editable files you own, fill in with your real vendors, print for the binder, and share with your partner or planner. You are buying the saved, editable, printable format — not access to the numbers.
What's inside
Twelve spreadsheet workbooks with the formulas already built in, each sold on its own or in one of three bundles, plus four print-ready PDFs.
Twelve editable workbooks (Excel & Google Sheets)
Vendor Tip Calculator and Cash Envelopes
In the original kit and the Complete kit
Enter each vendor's contract and tip method and it returns the exact tip, split per person with any rounding remainder floated to the lead. A second tab counts the exact bills to withdraw, and a third prints envelope labels. Includes the Tipping Cheat Sheet Pro PDF.
Just this one on Etsy, $6.99 →Wedding Vendor Payment Tracker
In the original kit and the Complete kit
Every deposit, balance, and due date in one sheet. Rows turn amber as a balance comes due and rose when it is overdue, and the summary shows what you have committed, paid, and still owe.
Just this one on Etsy, $4.99 →Wedding Budget Spreadsheet
In the original kit and the Complete kit
Type your budget and guest count and it splits across 12 categories using the same percentages as the free budget calculator, then adds 8 hidden costs, pre-estimated, to show your true total and how far over budget it runs.
Just this one on Etsy, $4.99 →Wedding Bar Shopping List Calculator
In the original kit and the Complete kit
Guest count and bar hours become an exact shopping list: wine bottles, beer cases, liquor liters, mixers and soft drinks, and ice, using the same yields as the free bar calculator, with typical prices pre-filled.
Just this one on Etsy, $4.99 →Wedding Catering Quote Comparison
In the original kit and the Complete kit
Line up to four caterers' quotes side by side and see the true per-head cost once service charge and tax are added in. The cheapest turns green automatically.
Just this one on Etsy, $4.99 →Wedding Savings Tracker
In the original kit and the Complete kit
Enter your total budget and wedding date and it works backward to a monthly savings target, with an on-track indicator as you log what you have actually saved.
Just this one on Etsy, $4.99 →Wedding Vendor Quote Comparison and Price Check
In the Planning Pack and the Complete kit
Up to four quotes per vendor, on nine tabs from venue and photographer to cake and a renamable Other Vendor tab. Extra hours, add-ons, travel and tax fold into a true total that is checked against the usual price range, and a summary totals your picks, deposits and tips against your budget.
Just this one on Etsy, $6.99 →Wedding Guest List with Cost Per Guest
In the Planning Pack and the Complete kit
Every name on the list carries a price, built from per-guest catering, bar, cake cutting and rentals with service charge and tax. Mark each RSVP and it shows what the confirmed list costs, what one more adult adds, and what trimming ten adults saves.
Just this one on Etsy, $4.99 →Who Pays For What, Wedding Budget Split Tracker
In the Planning Pack and the Complete kit
Up to five contributors, each with what they pledged and what they have given so far. Assign the 12 budget categories to whoever is covering them, split one expense between families if you need to, and see the gap that is still yours.
Just this one on Etsy, $4.99 →DIY Wedding Food Calculator, Shopping List and Cake Order
In the Planning Pack and the Complete kit
The free food and cake calculators as a workbook: guest count and service style become a shopping list with a column for what you actually pay, and your grocery total sits next to what a caterer would charge for the same crowd. A second tab sizes the cake tiers and the cost per serving.
Just this one on Etsy, $4.99 →Wedding Gift and Cash Ledger with Thank-You Tracker
In the Planning Pack and the Complete kit
Log each gift as it arrives and it totals the cash, counts the thank-you notes still to write, and turns any past your target date rose. Add what the wedding cost and what you still owe vendors, and it applies the cash gifts to both.
Just this one on Etsy, $4.99 →Elopement and Micro Wedding Budget
In the Planning Pack and the Complete kit
A line-item budget for 2 to 50 guests, each line with the usual price range and a starting estimate at the low end already filled in. Your total is checked against your budget, split per guest, and set next to the national average for a wedding that size.
Just this one on Etsy, $4.99 →Four print-ready PDFs
Quick Start Guide
One page that walks you through the whole kit: the order to open the workbooks, which cells are safe to edit, how to open them in Google Sheets, and where to find support.
Tipping Cheat Sheet Pro
The full printable chart — every vendor, the standard tip range, when to hand it over, and who gets paid in cash versus by bill — for your binder or the fridge.
Service Charge Decoder
The one word on your contract that decides if the staff already got tipped: gratuity, service charge, or something else, and whether you still owe extra.
Contract Money Questions
The dollar questions to ask every vendor before you sign — gratuity versus service charge, deposit versus retainer, and more — so the answers end up in the contract instead of a surprise later.
The hidden costs it makes you ask about
Most budget overruns are not the big line items — they are the fees nobody warned you about. The budget workbook pre-estimates each one and adds it to your true total, so you can ask before you sign, not after the invoice lands.
- Service charge, often mistaken for gratuity
- Sales tax on food, bar, and decor
- Vendor overtime past contracted end times
- Guest shuttle and transport
- Vendor meals required by the catering contract
- Corkage and cake-cutting fees
- Marriage license
- Site and event permits
Who it's for
The kit is for the couple who has moved past reading about tipping and is now actually booking vendors, signing contracts, and watching the deposits pile up. If you have a spreadsheet-shaped brain, or a partner who does, this is the format that fits how you already plan — one file per money question, saved and shared.
It is also for anyone doing the money work for someone else: a planner keeping a client's numbers straight, a parent covering costs, or the organized friend who volunteered to handle envelopes on the day. And if you just want the peace of mind of one place where every payment and tip is written down, dated, and checked off, that is exactly what it is built to give you.

Frequently Asked Questions
What format is the kit in?
Every workbook is a spreadsheet that works in both Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with real formulas already built in: you type your numbers and the totals update themselves. Every bundle also includes the four print-ready PDFs and a one-page quick-start guide. Everything downloads instantly from Etsy after checkout.
Does it work in Google Sheets, or only Excel?
Both. Each workbook ships as an .xlsx file that opens in Excel and, in Google Sheets, uploads and converts with the formulas intact. You can also make a copy in Google Sheets and share it with your partner or planner. Nothing is locked to one app and there is no subscription.
Is this just the free calculators behind a paywall?
No. The calculators on this site stay completely free, forever. The kit is the take-home version: the same trusted math, but as editable files you own — saved on your own computer, filled in with your real vendors, printed for your binder, and shared with whoever is helping. You are paying for the saved, editable, printable format, not for access to the numbers.
How do refunds work?
The kit comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If it is not useful, message us on Etsy (or email us) within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full, no questions, no hoops. Refunds are issued through Etsy to your original payment method.
Where do the numbers come from?
The exact same sources as the free tools: tip ranges verified against The Knot, Zola, and WeddingWire and reviewed twice a year, with catering, bar, and budget figures each cited to a named source. The kit never invents a number the site does not already stand behind.
How is it delivered, and who handles payment?
The kit is sold through our Etsy shop, WeddingMoneyKit. Etsy handles checkout, receipts, and sales tax, and the files are an instant download: Etsy emails you a link the moment payment clears, and they also appear under Purchases in your Etsy account. We never see or store your card details.
Can I buy just one workbook?
Yes. Each of the twelve workbooks is also sold on its own on Etsy, from $4.99. Or buy them in a bundle: the original kit (workbooks 1 to 6) or the Planning Pack (workbooks 7 to 12) at $19 each, or all twelve in the Complete kit for $29, versus $38 for both packs and $63.88 bought one at a time.
Which bundle should I get?
If you are sorting out tips, payments and the overall budget, the original kit covers it. If you are still comparing vendor quotes, building the guest list, or working out who pays for what, start with the Planning Pack. If you want both, the Complete kit is $29, which is $9 less than buying the two packs.
